Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our dynamic team at a Nelly bells Daycare located in Bounce Green. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of young learners, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Duties- Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and nap schedules, ensuring a smooth flow of activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support each child's learning journey.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment that aligns with best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety standards.
- Drive initiatives that promote children's independence and confidence through play-based learning experiences.
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their development through creative play.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices relevant to early years education is advantageous.
