SEN Teacher - Full Time
Are you looking for a fulfilling teaching role in a truly supportive and nurturing environment? We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a highly respected special school in South London. The school supports pupils aged 7-18 with a wide range of additional learning needs, including complex needs, and every student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Known for its outstanding reputation and high volume of referrals, this is a fantastic setting for an ambitious and passionate educator.
The school has a warm, family-like atmosphere where staff work collaboratively and support one another. Weekly training sessions are offered to all staff - including agency teachers - to ensure continuous professional development and a shared culture of learning.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 4:00pm
Location: South London

- Primarily serves pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
- Consists of 8-9 small classes of approximately 6 pupils each - some non-verbal or with complex needs.
- Offers a nurturing, holistic approach to learning, focusing on each child's individual development and progress.
- Qualified Teachers with QTS who have experience in SEN environments.
- Teachers passionate about supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs.
- Individuals who thrive in a collaborative, family-oriented school culture.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Foster a safe, structured, and inspiring classroom environment.
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to promote holistic development.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and meaningful progress for every pupil.
- UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with pupils with SEN.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us).
- Two employment references covering the past 24 months.
- A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.
- Continuous training and professional development opportunities.
