We're currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant at a vibrant mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.
Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Mainstream secondary school, Hounslow
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £100.00 per day
Responsibilities- Providing in-class support to SEND students across a range of subjects
- Assisting students during break times, lunch, trips, and extra-curricular activities
- Using positive behaviour strategies to support student wellbeing
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes
Our client school is a well-regarded secondary with over 1,500 students and a thriving sixth form. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted and 'Outstanding' for personal development, the school prides itself on being inclusive, supportive, and committed to the success of all students. You'll be joining a dedicated SEND team with strong leadership and a positive working culture.
What We're Looking For- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with SEND students
- Previous experience working with SEND or vulnerable individuals in education, healthcare, social care, or youth/community work
- Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- A desire to learn and grow - full training and CPD opportunities are provided
- Located in a sought-after part of West London, with excellent transport links and green open spaces
- Welcoming and supportive SEND department with a clear structure and strong leadership
