Make a real impact as a GCSE Maths Tutor
Are you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students with SEMH needs? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated tutor. You’ll provide personalised 1‑1 support in Maths for GCSE students. These in‑person sessions in Sidcup offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

in‑person in the Sidcup area - Hours:
1 hour per week - Days and times:
Monday, Wednesday or Friday evening - Subject and level: GCSE Maths
- Pay: £35 per hour
- Start date:
as soon as possible, 3rd November 2025
- Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1‑1.
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals’ or groups’ needs and study level.
- Assess any barriers to students’ learning and work to overcome these.
- Monitor student progress and produce reports.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks relevant to the subject tuition you provide.
- Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programme Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- At least 1 year of tutoring/teaching experience.
- Ability to work with students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to be self‑employed in the UK.
