Part-Time Secondary Cover Supervisor - Croydon

Location: Croydon, South London Salary: £95 - £125 per day (Pro-rata)
Contract: Part-Time / Flexible Days / Term Time Only Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 (approx.)

This is an ideal opportunity for parents, freelancers, postgraduate students, or those transitioning into education who want to work 2‑4 days a week (or on a flexible ad‑hoc basis) without the commitment of a full‑time teaching contract.

The Role:
Flexibility Meets Impact

As a Part‑Time Cover Supervisor, you provide the essential continuity schools need when regular staff are away. You handle the "front‑of‑class" management while the school provides the lesson plans.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Work on the days that suit you. Whether you want fixed part‑time days or flexible "on‑call" work, we can accommodate your availability.
  • Classroom Oversight: Manage students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (Ages 11‑18), ensuring they stay engaged with the work provided.
  • Behaviour Leadership: Maintain the school's high expectations for conduct and focus, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
  • Zero Planning or Marking: Enjoy the rewards of working with young people without the "take‑home" workload of a traditional teacher.
Who We Are Looking Forруш
  • Confidence & Presence: You must be comfortable leading a group of teenagers and managing classroom dynamics.
  • Reliability: Because schools rely on you to fill gaps, punctuality and commitment on your booked days are essential.
  • Communication: Ability to build quick rapport with students and staff in diverse Cro الوجهtional secondary schools.
  • Experience: Previous experience in youth work, coaching, tutoring, or any leadership role with young people is a huge plus.
