We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable leader to join our Senior Leadership Team. This exciting role has responsibility for Teaching and Learning and Continuing Professional Development throughout the Academy at its core.

You will be taking on the challenge of ensuring that good teaching and learning is firmly embedded throughout the Academy as the solid foundation of our future success. There is a real job to be done here and the right person will find that they will be an integral part, not just of the Senior Leadership Team, but the pivot in the development of every member of staff and every facet of life within the Academy.

Leading appraisal and CPD for all staff, you will be central figure as we move forwards.
You will be supporting curriculum development and innovation, behaviour management and individual staff career development.
All of your work will be underpinned by the effective use of data derived internally and externally as appropriate.
The successful candidate will:- be an excellent and proven practitioner inside and outside the classroom;
- demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and have high expectations of all students;
- work analytically with the whole school community to identify and develop best practice;
- have excellent communication skills - verbally and in writing - with students, staff, parents, governors and other stakeholders;
- be an advocate for equity: you will champion inclusivity and diversity;
- have strong personal values such as honesty, integrity, tact, empathy, excellent listening skills, energy, resilience and a well-developed sense of humour;
- show a clear understanding of the Christian ethos of the school;
- be able to call upon these personal qualities as required to analyse and respond both to success and failure.
