A leading independent prep school in Richmond is seeking an English Teacher from September 2026. This is a full time and permanent role.

This English Teaching role will entail teaching English from Year 4 up to Year 8 including scholarship and common entrance level and contributing to the full life of this amazing and thriving school.
The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following:
• Educated to degree level
• This English Teaching role would suit either a primary trained teacher with a strong background in English or a secondary teacher keen to work with a younger age range
• Ability to prepare students for a range of 11+ pre-test and entrance examinations
• Ability to teach English 13-plus Common Entrance and Scholarship levels.
• Postgraduate teaching qualification, including QTS, would be an advantage
• Ability to lead, inspire and support pupil
• Ability to think creatively and imaginative
