RoleWe are looking for a tutor able to teach core GCSE subjects (Maths, English, Science) to students who cannot attend mainstream education in the Southwark area. You will deliver tuition sessions to help these students gain confidence and attainment levels required to achieve qualifications and return to further education.
LocationStudents’ homes or community centre.
Hours and Availability3 hours a day, 5 days a week during school hours (flexible start times). More hours available. Part‑time (10‑15 hours) or full‑time (20‑30 hours). Long‑term and short‑term contracts.
Subjects- Maths
- English
- Science
- Good knowledge of Maths and English
- Able to plan and deliver lessons
- Excellent pay (£15‑£30 per hour)
- Part‑time or full‑time work available (10‑15 hours or 20‑30 hours)
- Long‑term and short‑term contracts available
- Students within close proximity to each other
- Transport not required but beneficial
