Functional Skills Maths Tutor

JDS Recruitment urgently require a functional skills Maths tutor to start from Monday 5th January 2026 to teach part-time (3 hours a week) teaching 5 students aged 16-19 working towards functional skills exams at Level 1+ 2. They will have just sat the exams in December 25 but will need to continue until results come in! The job is based in Newham, and we would love to speak with you about our opportunity in Stratford on a temporary basis.

3 hours (Mondays and Wednesdays at 4pm – 5:30pm)

Functional Skills Maths Teacher

• Have a personality!
• Be confident.
• Have excellent timekeeping.
• Able to use own initiative.
• Able to commit and be reliable.
• 100% attendance.
• Able to work 4pm – 5:30, Mondays and Wednesdays.
• Act as a great role model for the learners.
• Must have a QTLS.

This role will be to start January 26 subject to clear enhanced DBS and referencing checks.
