We are seeking a Management and Professional Trainer to join the Leadership Development Division (LDD) of Management & Professional Development Department (M&PDD). LDD is responsible for providing employees with experiences encouraging the learning and immediate application of leadership skills and capabilities linked to business needs. Your primary role is to serve as a facilitator to division heads, unit heads, supervisors, and professional employees in the areas of leadership, management, and supervisory training with primary responsibility for conducting higher level management training courses (in-person and virtual) and other training experiences.
This includes most aspects of the Human Resource Development (HRD) function, such as needs assessment, research, design of training sources, instruction, piloting, and evaluation.
- Present structured content in a way that inspires participants toward greatness.
- Conduct leadership, management, and supervisory courses and learning content (in person and virtually).
- Continually gain up-to-date knowledge on leadership, management, and supervisory soft skills.
- Collaborate with other learning professionals in the development of new course material.
- Review curriculum and make recommendations on utilizing state-of-the-art training aids and techniques, including digital and interactive training systems.
- Assist in other divisional activities either directly or indirectly related to divisional training.
- Conduct classroom training and assist in field training activities.
- Consistently practice proven characteristics of effective teaming.
- A Bachelor degree from a recognized and approved program.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in the delivery of training programs focused on leadership, management, and professional development.
- Experience in preparing a classroom learning environment and conducting training for 5 to 100 participants.
- Proven experience as a workshop facilitator delivering leadership, management, and supervisory knowledge and skills.
- Experience facilitating both in-person and virtual workshops.
- Experience using emerging learning technologies to enhance the learning environment.
- Able to prepare a training classroom environment as well as conduct and evaluate courses.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships at different levels within the organization and expert ability to effectively manage a classroom environment during training.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supervising teams or leading large projects.
- Experience using multiple virtual delivery platforms and their tools.
- Experience using engaging tools and technologies in a learning environment, including content creation on these mediums. This includes, but is not limited to, simulations and virtual models.
- Experience with the instructional design of leadership workshops and the corresponding documents to support the learner, including interactive digital participant guides.
