We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Electrical Installation Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students within a Further Education setting. The successful candidate will prepare learners for careers in the electrical industry by delivering practical and theoretical training aligned with industry standards and awarding body requirements.

• Deliver engaging lessons across Electrical Installation programmes (e.g., Level 1-3, Apprenticeships, or T Levels as applicable)
• Teach both practical workshop sessions and theoretical classroom-based lessons
• Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with awarding body and curriculum requirements (e.g., City & Guilds, EAL)
• Track learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support achievement and progression
• Maintain a safe learning environment in line with Health & Safety regulations
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
• Support learners with varying needs, including those requiring additional learning support
• Carry out administrative duties including lesson planning, marking, and learner records
• Engage in CPD to keep teaching practice and industry knowledge up to date

• Level 3 qualification or above in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• Significant industry experience as a qualified electrician
• Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations (e.g., BS 7671)
• Ability to inspire and motivate learners aged 16‑19 and adult learners
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
• Willingness to work towards a recognised teaching qualification (if not already held)

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Assessing and/or Internal Verifier qualifications
• Experience teaching in a Further Education or training environment
• Experience delivering apprenticeships
