Teach Now are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join this vibrant Primary school in Brent. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching SATs, strong behaviour management skills, and expertise in core subjects, as well as a creative and engaging teaching style.
Responsibilities- Delivering high‑quality teaching and learning to Year 6 students, ensuring that all students make excellent progress and are well‑prepared for SATs exams
- Creating engaging and challenging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and tracking progress towards targets
- Promoting positive behaviour management strategies in the classroom, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Developing strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues, and keeping them informed of student progress and attainment
- Using creativity and innovation to inspire and motivate students, and to make learning fun and engaging
- Participating in staff meetings and continuing professional development opportunities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Year 6 and SATs
- Excellent behaviour management skills, with a positive and proactive approach to discipline
- Proven experience in planning and delivering high‑quality lessons in core subjects, including Maths, English, and Science
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passionate about education and committed to providing the best possible learning experience for all students
- Creative and innovative, with a range of teaching strategies and techniques to engage and motivate students
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community
