A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP!

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning needs.
• Work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to deliver EHCP targets effectively.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Support behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist students both in and outside the classroom to help them access the curriculum.
• Monitor and track student progress, sharing feedback with staff and parents where appropriate.

• At least 1 year of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school.
• Background in supporting students with SEN (ASD, SEMH, ADHD, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, empathetic approach.
• Resilient, calm, and adaptable under pressure.
• A genuine enthusiasm for helping students with additional needs succeed.
• Additional training (e.g., Team Teach, Safeguarding, SEND CPD) is highly desirable.
