• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for staff and children.
• Lead the ‘learning through play’ ethos and the N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Model outstanding care and education, inspiring your team to bring their best every day.
• Champion continuous improvement, keeping practice fresh, creative, and outstanding.
• Shape the daily routine of your room, ensuring smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Support your team to plan, observe, and deliver high‑quality learning experiences tailored to every child.
• Coach, guide, and motivate your team through regular feedback and professional development.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and keep them involved in their children’s learning.
• Embed and role‑model safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards across your room.

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (e.g., Room Leader, Third in Charge, nursery nurse).
• For Baby Room Managers: experience working with children under 2 years old.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• Strong background in delivering consistent, exceptional customer service.
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant.
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training, with willingness to update regularly.
• Genuine passion for education and a commitment to changing children’s lives.
• Positive, glass‑half‑full outlook.
• Drive and motivation with a ‘make it happen’ attitude.
• Solid decision‑maker, able to support and achieve our Wildly Important Goals (WIGs).

• Competitive salary – £31,346 - £34,778 per annum.
