Complete Classroom Services are seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join one of our specialist SEND school partners located in vibrant Camden. This rewarding full‑time position offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils who have ASD and complex needs, supporting them both socially and academically within a structured and nurturing environment. As part of the role, you may be required to assist with personal care, ensuring that each pupil receives the support they need to access learning and maintain independence.

The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with additional needs. You will work alongside a dedicated team of teachers, support staff, and specialists who share a commitment to high‑quality SEND provision.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD and complex learning needs
  • Assist with personal care tasks when required, always following school protocols
  • Support pupils in developing communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction skills
  • Contribute to structured learning activities, adapted resources, and individual support plans
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, the SEN team, and external professionals
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children with ASD and complex needs (essential)
  • Calm, patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable, consistent, and passionate about SEND education
  • Right to work in the UK is required
