Position Details

Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance. This is a fixed‑term appointment until 27 November 2027 and can be offered as a secondment for internal candidates.

About the Department

The Department of Statistics is home to internationally respected experts in statistics and data science. We offer a vibrant research environment and a comprehensive programme of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Role Overview

The MSc Programmes Manager is an extremely varied role and directly contributes to the smooth running of the Department’s MSc programmes. The role includes managing all non‑academic aspects from recruitment through to graduation and gives excellent opportunities for personal development. The post holder will work with academic staff to develop and improve the student experience and ensure all institutional deadlines and responsibilities are met.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience administering undergraduate or postgraduate programmes
  • Ability to build and develop excellent professional relationships
  • Experience of supervising the work of others
  • Ability to set and work to deadlines and prioritise tasks, considering all relevant factors
