Position: Teaching Assistant (Permanent)
Teaching Assistant - Year 3 1:1 - ASD - Tottenham - Primary School

A well-regarded Tottenham Primary School is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 3 pupil diagnosed with Autism. This Teaching Assistant role begins in January and offers a long-term opportunity within a supportive school environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will provide structured support, help manage behaviour positively, and encourage independence using consistent routines and visual strategies.

Key responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:

Supporting a Year 3 pupil with Autism on a 1:1 basis

Assisting with classroom learning and differentiated tasks

Supporting behaviour, focus, and emotional wellbeing

Liaising with teachers, SENCo, and parents

Acting as a positive role model throughout the school day

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

Has Autism experience in a primary school setting

Is proactive, patient, and emotionally resilient

Holds an Enhanced DBS
