Applications are invited for the fixed term (6 months) post of Full Time Locum Dental Core Trainee (Non-Training) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
This post represents an opportunity for a dynamic and motivated doctor to join our department and work within our existing team of enthusiastic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery professionals.
The candidate will be expected to integrate within the team and support the existing clinical team in order to provide daycase and outpatient care for Oral and Maxillofacial surgical patients.
The post holder will be expected to take part in the weekday resident on-call rota, providing out of hours cover between the hours of 8am and 9am, and 5pm to 8pm.

About usThe Trust's services are provided from three locations:
- The Countess of Chester Hospital: providing 473 general and acute beds
- Ellesmere Port Hospital: providing 60 beds as a rehabilitation, intermediate and outpatient facility
- Tarporley War Memorial Hospital: a base for community services which serve the local rural population
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust employs 5,964 staff (headcount) to provide care and treatment to a population of over 400,000 people living in Chester and West Cheshire which includes Ellesmere Port and Neston as well as the Deeside area of Flintshire.

Person Specification Qualifications- Be eligible for full registration with, and hold a current license to practise from the GDC at intended start date
- Successful completion of dental foundation training or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable understanding of basic principles of audit, clinical risk management, evidence-based practise, patient safety and clinical quality improvement initiatives
- Experience in OMFS, Oral Surgery or Oral Medicine
