As an Urgent Treatment Centre General Practitioner, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients in urgent treatment settings. You'll be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of conditions, injuries, and illnesses. The role demands a combination of clinical excellence and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Main duties of the jobPlease note that we are seeking one individual to cover the following two shifts:
Saturdays and Sundays 16:00-22:00
It is essential that the candidate is available to work both of these shifts.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and treatments, and provide follow-up care as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Stay updated with the latest medical procedures and best practices in urgent treatment centre.

Job responsibilitiesPlease see attached job description for more information about this role and working at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. We are only looking for a number of GPs to work at Chase Farm Urgent Treatment Centre to cover the 4pm to 10pm and / or 6pm to 10pm evening shift Monday to Sunday. (Please only apply if you are only able to cover at least two evening shifts per week)
Person Specification Royal Free World Class Values- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
- GMC Licence to Practice
- Current GP Principle or Non-Principle in UK
- If a non-principle then currently registered on a PCT Medical Performers List
- MRCGP
- Effective team working skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate in a complex environment
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Information Technology skills
- Previous experience of working in Emergency Department or Urgent care centre
- 3+ years of experience in Primary care
- Ability to work independently
- Team player

£76,038 to £114,743 per annum plus London weighting ( pro rata )
