Medical Doctor, Primary Care Physician
Enfield South West PCN is seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner to support and develop our PCN-led Home Visiting Service.
This is a dedicated, non-surgery role, focused on planned and urgent home visits for housebound and clinically vulnerable patients across the PCN. The role is ideal for a GP looking for flexible, portfolio-friendly work with predictable hours and a defined clinical remit.
- Salaried post, ARRS-funded
- Indemnity covered via state-backed CNSGP scheme
- Mileage reimbursement / PCN vehicle support where applicable
- Undertake planned and same-day PCN home visits for registered patients across Enfield South West PCN
- Provide holistic clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management in the home setting
- Work closely with the PCN MDT (paramedics, nurses, pharmacists, care coordinators)
- Liaise with practices to support continuity and reduce same-day workload pressure
- Complete concise clinical documentation and appropriate follow-up actions
- Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement (light-touch)
- To be explicit:
- No routine GP surgery sessions
- No duty doctor or triage responsibility
- No requirement to cover practice on-call rotas
- No expectation to manage practice admin lists
This is a clearly scoped PCN service role, not a practice backfill post.
