Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic junior doctor to join our dynamic team providing acute and inpatient general internal medicine to residents on Newham, east London. This full‑time locum FY2+ equivalent/SHO post will be available from 1 April 2026 to 4 August 2026. The doctor will be based on the wards delivering daily care of medical inpatients under the team and will also handle patients admitted with specific gastroenterology or liver conditions.

• Manage ethical and legal issues during the management of patients with general medical problems

• Become life‑long learners and teachers
• Be able to cover general medical on‑call during daytime, weekends and nights as part of the on‑call team
• Be part of the cardiac arrest team when on‑call
