AboutThe Role
We are seeking an accomplished Consultant or Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in Uveitis and Ocular Inflammation & Immunology to join one of Singapore’s leading tertiary eye institutions. This prestigious role offers the chance to work within a world‑class ophthalmology network delivering comprehensive care for complex inflammatory eye disorders. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing subspecialty services, research innovation, and teaching, while practising in one of Asia’s most advanced clinical and academic environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage subspecialty clinics for uveitis and ocular immunology
- Provide expert diagnostic and therapeutic management for complex inflammatory eye disease
- Perform relevant ophthalmic surgeries and procedures
- Supervise and mentor fellows, residents, and junior clinicians
- Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration, research, and CME activities
- Contribute to clinical innovation, academic publishing, and international collaborations

- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (FRCOphth, MMed, or equivalent)
- Completion of recognised advanced specialist training and eligibility for specialist accreditation with Singapore’s Ministry of Health
- Subspecialty training or fellowship in Uveitis and Ocular Immunology
- Proven experience in teaching, leadership, and research output
- Minimum 7 years’ post‑CCT experience for Senior Consultant appointment
- Annual salary up to £300,000, depending on grade and experience
