Consultant Physician with a special interest in Acute Medicine. 2 posts. Full-time (10PA, including up to 2 SPA).

Salary Scale - £111,430 - £148,064 per annum (pro rata)

Looking for a new and exciting challenge? Then think about working in NHS Forth Valley in the heart of Scotland. Applications are invited to join an enthusiastic and motivated team who share responsibility for providing comprehensive clinical services within the Acute Medicine Unit. The successful candidate will join an established multidisciplinary team that includes 6 substantive consultants. This is an exciting time in Forth Valley, with ambitious plans to redesign the Acute Medicine Unit and Rapid Assessment and Care/Same Day Emergency Care (RACU/SDEC) services with the addition of three new colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clinical services within the Acute Medicine Unit.
  • Join an established multidisciplinary team that includes 6 substantive consultants.
  • Contribute to the redesign of the Acute Medicine Unit and RACU/SDEC services with the addition of three new colleagues.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Full GMC registration and a license to practice.
  • Applicants must be within 6 months of anticipated award of CCT at the time of interview.
  • Applicants applying under the Portfolio pathway must be entered onto the GMC Specialist Register at time of application.
  • Evidence of recent continued academic and professional development.
  • Excellent communication, listening and organizational skills are essential.
