General Responsibilities
- Take part in regular Uro‑gynaecology clinics with the multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate and manage the acute gynaecology pathway, including the hot clinic.
- Perform and supervise surgical management of gynaecology emergencies.
- Attend the main theatre and day surgery; perform procedures under consultant supervision.
- Manage the monthly MDT meetings.
- Engage in research activities, either existing or your own research.
- Supervise and provide day‑to‑day care of junior doctors; manage on‑call duties, including nights, weekends and occasional emergencies.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is recruiting a Uro‑gynaecology clinical fellow to commence as soon as possible. The posts will be for six months initially, with the possibility of extension for the appropriate appointee.
Qualifications- At least 3 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Possess MRCOG Part 1 qualification (or equivalent).
