Would you like to work for one of the largest and most well‑recognised trusts in the UK as part of a friendly, dynamic and forward‑thinking team? We seek to train future leaders in Emergency Medicine by inviting ED clinicians (ST4+ or equivalent) to join our department.
We are offering a fixed‑term appointment, initially for 12 months but with potential to extend. We understand that doctors have lives outside of work and are positive about part‑time employment – contact us if this is something you would like to consider.
Registrars’ Working Pattern and SupportOur registrar rota is annualised and self‑rostered, allowing you to select a working pattern that suits you. You will have eight hours per week of educational development time, which can be used for teaching, audit, research, quality improvement work, exam revision, personal study, or any other approved activity agreed with your consultant supervisor. We also offer support for progression to CESR, with several of our senior fellows currently working towards this under the supervision of a consultant CESR lead.
QualificationsThe post is suitable for experienced doctors in Emergency Medicine at the level of an ST4+ or equivalent. Candidates without formal membership or entrance examinations will be considered if they possess longitudinal experience or equivalent qualifications.

- Be able to work independently in all areas of the ED, including the resuscitation room, majors, urgent treatment centre, and paediatrics.
