The gastrointestinal services division at University College Hospital is one of the largest in the UK, with 15 clinical and academic consultant physicians working within the subspecialty areas of upper GI medicine, HPB medicine, lower GI/IBD, nutrition, hepatology and clinical physiology. The state of the art endoscopy unit consists of 8 endoscopy rooms, including a dedicated ERCP/EUS screening room. Previous appointees have achieved the expectation of presentations at national/international meetings, and peer-reviewed publications. Our team also has a very active endoscopy education portfolio, including the London Live Endoscopy course, Hands-On ERCP training courses, and other regular interventional endoscopy courses.
The successful candidate will also be expected to be involved in all our teaching commitments.
