Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Emergency MedicineThe closing date is 02 February 2026
Applications are invited for ST4+ candidates experienced in Emergency Medicine or acute paediatrics with membership (MRCEM/MRCPCH). The post offers an opportunity to consolidate paediatric emergency medicine competencies and pursue an area of interest, which may include one of the following:
- Education and Simulation fellowship – broad based practical training in simulation and education.
- Research and Quality Improvement fellowships – opportunities to pursue research include evaluation of digital interventions, artificial intelligence in emergency medicine (UCLH‑Turing partnership), clinical trials, novel therapeutics and diagnostics, with established links to the sepsis network and PERUKI; opportunity to develop and complete projects with the support of the research and quality improvement teams.
The post holder will be allocated 60% of their working time to clinical duties in paediatric emergency medicine and 40% to develop an area of special interest.
This role is supported across both the Emergency Services and Paediatric divisions.

- Full registration with the GMC at time of interview and hold a current licence to practise
- APLS provider or equivalent
- MRCEM or MRCPCH or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months paediatric emergency medicine experience which may include experience in acute paediatrics
