Senior Architectural Technologist

Our London studio seeks a motivated Senior Architectural Technologist with extensive technical proficiency across a diverse range of large scale residential and mixed use projects.

ECE operates from multiple studios including Central London, Worthing seafront, and Central Bristol, specialising in residential, education, commercial, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. As a Senior Architectural Technologist with ECE, you will take a pivotal role in the delivery of a wide range of projects, principally within the residential sector. Your expertise will drive projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards, ensuring the realisation of visionary concepts into tangible, functional spaces across various sectors.

• Strong technical skills gained on a range of medium to large scale projects (residential and mixed use highly beneficial).
• Excellent AutoCAD and IT (Microsoft Office) skills.
• Current working knowledge of Autodesk Revit is essential.
• Understanding of current Building Regulations, NHBC/ LABC Warranty Guidance and Associated Housing Standards.
• Experience of effectively leading project teams and collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Ability to prepare detailed working drawing packages (plans, sections, elevations, schedules and details).
• Capability to coordinate a drawing package in conjunction with other design consultants.
• Initiative and exceptional communication skills, while allowing for autonomous work.
• Extensive technical proficiency across projects, preferably with a value of £5m or more.
• Proven track record in overseeing projects through RIBA stages 4, 5 and 6, particularly within residential and commercial sectors.
• Advanced technical detailing abilities and understanding of contemporary construction methodologies.

ECE London is a dynamic studio located in the heart of the city, situated near South Bank with several mainline railway stations including Waterloo, Blackfriars and London Bridge in walking distance. Southwark and Borough tube stations are also conveniently situated nearby. Our London studio is arranged over two floors; the ground floor entrance is accessible from street level without steps.
