Lighting Designer

This is a full-time, office based role for a mid-level Lighting Designer based in our central London office.

As an Intermediate Lighting Designer, you will be expected to work more independently, collaborate with Project Manager/Team Leader, support Junior Designers and interact with the external project design team. You will be working on multiple projects at the same time and will be involved on projects at various stages from start to completion.

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar independent lighting consultancy
• BA or MA in Lighting Design or Architecture degree
• High level of experience in Dialux Evo and 3D modeling integration
• Proficiency in graphic design and image editing software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Proficiency in 2D CAD and interest for 3D programmes such as Rhino, Sketch Up, Revit
• Familiar with digital sketching tools such as graphic tablets and sketching softwares
• Ability to read architectural, structural, electrical drawings with minimal supervision
• Good knowledge of all construction stages
• Capability to apply applicable lighting codes, product selection and controls knowledge
