Digital Media / Production, Product Designer
Pynea is a challenge-based interview intelligence system, powered by AI, helping companies hire faster, smarter, and with less bias. We’re building a product that replaces noisy, CV-led hiring with higher-signal decision-making - grounded in real evidence, real work, and real human capability.
We’re in a high-momentum build towards go-to-market and launch! That means we care about outcomes, not busywork and we need design that’s clear, polished, and shippable.
The missionYou’ll join as a Junior Product Designer to help the product ship better and faster. Your focus is supporting the team across UX and visual design: polishing flows, improving clarity, and turning rough ideas into clean, consistent UI in Figma.
You’ll work directly with our product and design team, learning fast and contributing to real production work. You’ll have clear visual direction to follow and the space to influence details that make the experience feel unmistakably Pynea.
The role:what you’ll do
You’ll support across core product flows, including:
- Turning rough flows into polished, consistent screens in Figma
- Improving UX clarity: layouts, hierarchy, microcopy, interaction details
- Creating and maintaining design components in line with our visual language
- Preparing handoff-ready designs (clean files, annotations, states where needed)
- Helping the team move faster by asking the right questions early
- Iterating quickly based on feedback from product, design, and engineering
- The product feels more polished and more coherent week by week
- Flows are clearer, with fewer UX gaps and fewer last-minute design surprises
- Engineering can ship faster because designs are consistent and well-prepared
- You become a reliable “design multiplier” for the team
- You learn quickly and start owning small areas end-to-end over time
- Strong Figma skills and high attention to visual detail
- Ability to produce clean, polished UI (layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy)
- A problem‑solving mindset: you think before you design
- Confidence asking questions and clarifying requirements early
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight goals
- Strong taste and willingness to follow an existing visual system and direction
- Early exposure to product design, UX, or UI work (internship, freelance, university projects, bootcamp)
- Basic understanding of product/engineering collaboration (handoff, constraints, responsiveness)
- Experience designing for web or mobile apps
- Interest in AI products, marketplaces, or hiring tech
