About Thriva
At Thriva, we’re on a mission to close the gap between lifespan and healthspan. While people are living longer, they’re also spending more years in poor health. We help people live better now, and for longer with proactive, at‑home blood testing, connected wearables, doctor‑reviewed results, and personalised actions backed by evidence.
We’re entering an exciting phase of product evolution. Our app has grown significantly over time and now supports hundreds of thousands of people with rich health data, clinical insight, and personalised guidance. We’re looking for a Senior UI Designer to help us take this product to the next level, evolving it from a functional experience into something that feels modern, trustworthy, and genuinely delightful to use in support of health behaviour change, cutting through with timely insight from reams of data.
This role is about crafting an interface that reflects Thriva as a cutting‑edge, clinically credible health data company, while supporting real‑world behaviour change and long‑term wellbeing—without falling into the trap of addictive or attention‑extractive design, and staying human!
The RoleWe’re building a first‑of‑its‑kind proactive health app, combining deep clinical insight with human‑centred design, conversational coaching, and increasingly sophisticated data insight. As Senior UI Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how this experience looks, feels, and behaves.
By the time you join, we’ll have begun evolving our brand, marketing site, and app with creative UI input. You’ll collaborate closely with those creatives, alongside our product team and existing Product Designer, to extend and systemise this visual language within the app—ensuring it scales across complex health data, insights, actions, and coaching experiences.
This is a highly hands‑on role for someone who cares deeply about craft, detail, and coherence. You’ll help ensure Thriva feels like a trusted companion in someone’s health journey: supportive, clear, and motivating, showing up regularly in people’s lives in a way that encourages healthy action in the real world.
We’re a purposefully lean team. Our CTO Founder writes code, our Product Director runs user interviews, and designers are deeply embedded in product thinking. We’re looking for someone comfortable operating at both the strategic and the pixel‑perfect level who thrives in this one‑team culture.
