Mid Weight Digital Project Manager

As a Mid Weight Digital Project Manager, you are responsible for the on time, on budget, and on brief delivery of projects for our clients. You will be fundamental in building and establishing a strong working relationship with the client to ensure successful delivery and a solid foundation upon which a longer- term partnership might be built.

With direction from the Project Management function’s leadership, you will be expected to implement defined processes in delivery and undertake regular reporting of project status, and you are encouraged to draw from your own experience to contribute to the continuous improvement of our ways of working.

Our Project Managers are adaptable, able to prioritise effectively, and have great people skills. Attention to technical detail and strong organisational skills are a must, along with an interest in digital design and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the design lead on your engagement to facilitate delivery, owning all operational tasks to set the project team up for success.
• Build our clients’ trust by taking the lead in operational matters throughout delivery, such as refinements in ways of working, setting client expectations about upcoming activities, etc.
• Develop a deep understanding of the work being delivered by the project team through active contributions in group discussion throughout the engagement (e.g. requirements gathering sessions, design crits, etc.)
• Act as the voice of the client within the agency by ensuring project requirements and client feedback are addressed in design discussions.
• Where required, own the creation of work architectures for proposals across new clients and for organic growth opportunities within your client account(s), and SOW documentation for converted opportunities.
• A digital ‘native’ with knowledge of all existing and emerging digital channels.
• Assisting, organising and helping write strategic pitch, RFP responses and proposals
• Maintain governance and status tracking documentation throughout project delivery.
• Coach and mentor more junior team members by sharing learnings from experience.
• Actively contribute to the studio culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in project management within a relevant industry.
• Digital product experience, ideally across native applications, mobile, tablet and web
• A passion for emerging technologies, devices and digital products with a focus on user-centric design
• Experience in scoping and estimating projects.
• Experience liaising with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
