About the Role
Our client, a well-established international lighting design studio is seeking a CAD Technician / Revit MEP Technician to join its London-based technical team.
This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of creative and technically demanding lighting projects across multiple sectors.
You will play a key part in translating lighting concepts into coordinated technical drawings, supporting design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Exposure
The studio delivers bespoke lighting solutions across a wide spectrum of environments, including commercial and residential spaces, hospitality and leisure venues, retail destinations, external public realms, cultural installations and specialist one-off projects. Each scheme presents unique design and coordination challenges, from clean architectural concepts to highly detailed decorative installations.
The business collaborates closely with leading architects and designers on an international scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed lighting layouts and coordination drawings using AutoCAD 2D and Revit MEP
* Develop lighting control and channel layouts in collaboration with design teams
* Prepare lighting control schedules and technical documentation using Microsoft Excel
* Support lighting designers with integration details and coordinated drawing packages
* Contribute to the technical accuracy and quality of deliverables across all projects
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience working with AutoCAD 2D and Revit MEP
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Background in lighting, building services, or a related technical discipline preferred
* High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Comfortable working within a collaborative, design-led environment
