Senior Architect

Senior Architect | London

My client, an award-winning architecture and sustainability practice based in London, is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their small, dynamic team. They specialise in residential and mixed-use developments, delivering design- and insight-led place-making for public and private sector clients.

The Role

The Senior Architect will lead projects from concept through completion, taking responsibility for:

* Design concepts and research (RIBA Stages 1–3) including sketching, diagrams, and sustainability-led strategies

* Planning proposals and associated documentation

* Project delivery and coordination across RIBA Stages 4–6, including low-carbon detailing and on-site administration

* Supporting project bids and mentoring team members

* Contributing to practice initiatives, exhibitions, and industry events

Requirements

* ARB registered Architect with 10+ years UK experience post-Part 3, including 3+ years on-site

* Experience across all RIBA stages, leading projects from commencement to completion

* Proven ability to manage consultant teams (structural, MEP, specialist)

* Strong technical knowledge and job-running/site experience

* Proficient in Archi

CAD 27, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office

* Excellent visual communication, presentation skills, and a proactive approach

* Interest in sustainable design, technical detailing, and materiality
