Role
As an experienced Architect in our London studio, you will be a member of a collaborative team that values both rigorous thinking and creative exploration. As a Design Leader, you are able to take responsibility, bring curiosity, contribute fresh ideas and advance conceptual approaches in our shared pursuit of architectural excellence. The role requires strong design management and team leadership capabilities, excellent client‑facing and presentation skills, and a deep understanding of design integrity through materiality, detailing, and construction quality.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work within a project team, responsible for formulating design approaches and establishing design excellence in response to project constraints and brief aspirations while promoting creativity and critical thinking within the team. You will collaboratively lead design development from concept through labores to construction documentation, mentoring junior team members and guiding design investigations and explorations.
Your role involves coordinating with
ASM consultants and clients to ensure design intent is maintained, while preparing and presenting design proposals for discussion at design reviews, design team workshops and client presentations.
- Part 3 qualified, ARB registered, with 5‑7 years design leadership experience on high‑quality architectural projects
- Portfolio of student and professional work demonstrating exceptional design quality, innovative thinking, and sustainable design.
Departmental intuition - Strong presentation skills with experience communicating design concepts to clients and stakeholders
- Advanced model‑making and sketching abilities with proficiency in Rhino, Archi
CAD and Photoshop tools - Experience leading teams, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
