Location: Greater London

AFL Build is seeking a constructionproject manager to join its team in London.

We seek experienced construction professionals with a passion for building high quality residential projects in London. The successful candidate could be a project manager, quantity surveyor or architect with strong site experience.

We are a London based contractor with an architect-led design and build service. We work alongside Architecture for London, an award-winning architecture practice dedicated to the creation of inspirational and sustainable architecture and interiors. Our combined design and construction service ensures that each project meets the exacting requirements of our clients.

We construct outstanding architectural homes and workplaces that are both sustainable and beautiful. Our team of specialist craftspeople work toward stringent Passivhaus design principles to deliver low-energy properties that are healthy, warm and comfortable throughout the year.

We work on a range of projects across London, with a strong client focus.

The ideal candidate should be looking to grow their experience and responsibility.

The role requires construction experience delivering private residential work.

The successful applicant will have the following skills:
  • strong experience of estimating building costs
  • excellent organisational and communication skills
  • site experience
  • knowledge of statutory regulations, contracts, procurement and delivery requirements
  • strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • construction scheduling experience
  • manage the procurement of goods and services
  • knowledge of health and safety requirements
  • proactive and logical approach to problem-solving
  • ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. The role is full-time based at our studio and sites across London.
