Position Overview

They are seeking a talented and dedicated AutoCAD expert to join their team as a Technical Designer. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bringing their retail design from concepts to life, ensuring that they align with their clients’ visions and meet their high-quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of retail design, the ability to collaborate with suppliers and clients, and a knack for solving complex design challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage detailed AutoCAD drawings for retail design projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Contract Managers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Work with suppliers to source materials, fixtures, and furnishings while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Act as a confident liaison between the team and clients, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and resolve design-related issues and challenges to maintain project timelines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus but not essential.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software with a strong portfolio highlighting their technical skills in retail design.
  • Previous experience in retail design is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of suppliers and materials commonly used in retail  good.
