Award-winning Design Consultancy based in London have an opportunity for an Industrial Designer to join their growing team. The role benefits from a starting salary up to £45,000, hybrid working, pension, life insurance, income protection insurance, plus many other benefits.

• Working on design projects as part of a supportive team.
• Sketching initial design ideas.
• Developing design concepts using CAD.
• Identifying the suitability and availability of materials.
• Production of detailed, final hand drawings and specifications.
• Making samples or working models by hand.
• Testing the design concept by computerised modelling or physical hands-on testing of models.
• Following consumer trends and developing customer insights.
• Presenting to senior design management or clients, when bidding for contracts or presenting design proposals.

• Creativity with an eye for shape and colour.
• An excellent knowledge of different materials and production methods.
• A sound technical, practical and scientific knowledge and ability.
• An interest in the way people select and utilise products and services.
• Software skills:
  Solidworks, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Aviation background would be beneficial.

• £40,000 - £45,000 basic starting salary, however there may be flexibility.
