Position: Interior Designer (Midweight)
Location: Greater London

Midweight Interior Designer - High-End Residential Projects

Location: St Margarets (Richmond/Twickenham)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays

An award-winning Interior Design and Architecture Studio is seeking a talented Midweight Interior Designer to join their growing team working on prestigious national and international residential projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fun, hardworking team on high-end schemes for private clients and developers, with a strong focus on FF&E, procurement, and interior design fit-out.

The Role:

You’ll be working on luxury residential projects from concept through to completion, managing your own schemes and collaborating with the wider team during busy periods. The role requires excellent client-facing skills, strong technical ability, and comprehensive product and supplier knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing interior schemes, bespoke joinery and FF&E using CAD, Photoshop and In Design
  • Presenting concepts and designs to clients both digitally and physically
  • Managing projects end-to-end including client liaison, budgeting, procurement and installation
  • Producing specification schedules for lighting, sanitaryware, finishes and joinery
  • Overseeing fit-out teams and contractors to ensure high-quality execution
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in high‑end residential interior design
  • Design‑based degree or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient in Photoshop, AutoCAD, MS Office and Estimac
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design development and personal style
  • Proven experience managing clients, budgets and fit‑out delivery
  • Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills
  • Confident, enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
