Role – Assistant Landscape Architect Location – London Salary – £DOE

Our client, a creative multidisciplinary studio is looking for an Assistant Landscape Architect to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong design and technical skills who’s keen to develop their career within a supportive, award-winning studio environment.

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will assist in the design and delivery of a wide range of landscape projects, from early‑stage concept work and planning support to detailed design and implementation. You’ll work closely with senior team members on design development, visualisations, technical drawings, and reports, contributing to high‑quality outcomes across residential, public realm, and infrastructure projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support senior team members in preparing design proposals, graphics, and technical drawings
  • Assist with planning submissions, LVIAs, and other supporting documents
  • Undertake site analysis and contribute to concept design work
  • Help coordinate with clients, consultants, and local authorities
  • Contribute creative ideas and a practical approach to design challenges
REQUIREMENTS
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D visualisation software
  • Strong graphic and presentation skills, with attention to detail
  • Good understanding of UK planning and landscape processes
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
  • Ideally working towards or interested in the Pathway to Chartership (CMLI)
