Community Dental Nurse

We are looking for a full‑time:title­
Band 4 Dental Nurse to join our Community Dental Services at Shrewsbury Dental Clinic in the Inner North East London (INEL). The role will serve the London boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham, and will be peripatetic, covering all dental sites in the area.

• Provide chair‑side dental nursing for the special‑care patient group, including sedation, special‑care dentistry and paediatric dentistry.
• Organise dental kits and materials for domiciliary visits.
• Support reception and the entire dental team, visiting patients in the community (domiciliary, homeless centres and the medium‑secure‑unit mobile dental unit).
• Implement service initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatorylarda such as CQC, Dental Practice Inspections, SOPs and Health & Safety risk assessments.
• Ensure standardised practices across all sites and demonstrate strong leadership, working independently, proactively and under pressure.

You will need the qualification level specified in the person specification. Applicants who do not yet hold the required qualification will still be considered and supported to obtain it. The band level of the role is Band 4 and the position is full‑time.
