Position: Visitor Experience Assistant
Location: Greater London

£26,936 per annum FTE, £14.80 per hour rising with training and experience over three years, plus benefits.

Hours:

Both part‑time and full‑time roles available

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming visitors from across the world to the Cathedral, ensuring a seamless experience from the initial welcome at the entrances to ticket selling.
  • Providing information and guidance throughout the visit, whether in the Crypt or the indoor and outdoor galleries.
  • Working throughout the Cathedral, including the indoor and outdoor galleries, to make each visit memorable.
  • Sharing in St Paul’s Cathedral’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
  • Working the Visitor Experience rota, including Christmas and Easter.
Qualifications & Experience

We look for individuals with excellent customer service skills, a passion for history, and a desire to be part of this vibrant building.

Work Environment

The Cathedral is open 365 days per year; the position involves working in an environment with exposure to elevated noise levels.
