Lighting Technician – Live Events & Performance Venue
OverviewOur client, a globally recognised live performance venue, is seeking an experienced Lighting Technician to join its Production and Technical team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-profile events environment supporting a diverse programme of performances and productions. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality lighting services across multiple performance spaces while maintaining complex lighting systems and supporting event delivery.
The position offers the chance to contribute to technically demanding productions while developing expertise within a highly skilled production team.
Location: London, UK
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £35,193 per annum
Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of professional lighting systems across the venue.
- Prepare and set up lighting rigs and equipment for a wide range of internal and external events.
- Maintain and service large moving-light rigs and lighting infrastructure
. - Adapt and reconfigure lighting setups to meet the requirements of different productions.
- Work closely with lighting designers, operators and the wider production team to deliver high-quality event lighting.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and equipment faults during setup and live events.
- Ensure equipment is maintained to professional standards and ready for performance schedules.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of productions across multiple performance spaces.
- Proven experience working as a Lighting Technician in live events, theatre, or performance venues
. - Strong knowledge of complex lighting systems and moving-light rigs
. - Experience with the daily adaptation and configuration of lighting rigs
. - Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
. - Ability to work collaboratively within a technical production team.
