About the Role
We’re looking for ONE very special and highly ambitious (part‑time) Audio Engineer/Producer Co‑Founder to be one of two engineers heading up a unique podcast based in Central London.
We’re not another generic production company looking to pump out arbitrary shows – we want to do a LOT more in Podcasting. Sundays only (around 3‑4 hours max) for the time being until we really get going financially.
Key Responsibilities- Record shows using Ableton Live and Rodecaster Pro
. - Set up and maintain audio hardware/software for high‑quality production.
- Collaborate with guests and the co‑founder to shape the narrative and sound design.
- Manage schedules, ensuring Sunday afternoons are dedicated to recording and post‑production.
As we’re currently unfunded there is no money (for any of us right now), but this will change later in the year once we start promoting the shows and the company. Until that point, the work is Sunday afternoons or occasionally a weekday from 7 pm when a guest is unavailable.
What We’re Looking For- Personality and a desire to be part of a small team with BIG ambitions.
- Interest in putting your name on something you helped create.
- Availability on Sunday mornings and ability to get into Central London hassle‑free.
- Experience with audio production hardware/software is a plus but not required.
Please send your application directly to team with the word ‘Producer’ in the title. In your email, confirm the following:
Anyone who responds professionally (to the email address given above) will be given a response either way.
Many Thanks,
This British Life Podcast
