The Role

RIXO is seeking a Content & Community Editor to bring our brand world to life across every digital touchpoint. You will craft content that not only performs, but makes people feel something, deepening the emotional connection between RIXO and our community. Blending storytelling, content creation and community intuition, you will work closely with the Brand, Marketing, Creative and Influencer teams to shape how RIXO shows up across digital platforms including Tik Tok, Instagram, Substack, paid media, You Tube Shorts, Pinterest and emerging channels.

You will be both a hands‑on creator and an editorial thinker, spotting moments, shaping narratives and turning everyday brand life into content people genuinely care about, always true to RIXO’s personality and values.

Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Storytelling
  • Create high‑quality, emotionally resonant content across platforms, including video, imagery, editorial, BTS, interviews, in‑store moments and more.
  • Confidently create lo‑fi content yourself using iPhone and camera or video equipment.
  • Help establish and evolve RIXO’s content approach, defining what sets us apart and feels intrinsic to the brand’s USPs.
  • Turn daily brand life, such as design days, fittings, archive pulls, styling sessions and events, into authentic, compelling storytelling.
  • Develop recurring, episodic formats that feel distinctly RIXO, such as Humans of RIXO, Joy of Dressing, Behind the Print and Real Women / Real Style.
  • Capture spontaneous, candid moments in a fast‑growing business environment, showcasing behind‑the‑scenes brand life with warmth and intention.
  • Own post‑production editing, cutting, curating and shaping stories through image, video and light graphic overlays.
Cross‑Platform Editorial
  • Lead day‑to‑day storytelling across Tik Tok, Instagram, Pinterest, You Tube Shorts, Substack and future platforms.
  • Support the creation of RIXO’s Substack, shaping narratives and drafting posts that authentically capture Orlagh and Henrietta’s voices.
  • Adapt ideas thoughtfully to each platform’s culture, elevating concepts rather than duplicating content.
Social Strategy & Channel Management
  • Own day‑to‑day posting, scheduling and optimisation across social channels.
  • Bring cultural moments, platform trends and community insights into the social calendar in a way that feels natural and relevant to RIXO.
Community Engagement
  • Bring Humans of RIXO to life digitally, spotlighting real customers, stylists, staff and the wider RIXO community.
  • Nurture meaningful on‑platform engagement by responding thoughtfully, identifying super‑fans and surfacing stories worth amplifying.
  • Build community‑led formats and encourage UGC that celebrates personal style and the joy of dressing.
Creator & Partner Collaboration
  • Develop clear, inspiring creative briefs for external creators, stylists, videographers and collaborators.
  • Work closely with the Influencer and Affiliate Manager to ensure creator content aligns with broader brand storytelling and marketing themes.
Insights & Cultural Awareness
  • Monitor content and platform performance, sharing clear, actionable insights with the wider team.
  • Stay ahead of cultural shifts, micro‑trends and digital behaviours that align with RIXO’s values.
  • Proactively propose new formats, ideas and creative approaches to keep RIXO culturally relevant and community‑led.
What Success Looks Like
  • RIXO’s social presence feels emotionally distinctive, warm and instantly recognisable.
  • Engagement is meaningful, with growing saves, shares, comments and community participation.
  • Several recurring content formats become recognisable pillars of the RIXO universe.
