Overview
A large retailer is seeking an experienced social strategist to work with the head of social to unify their approach across Facebook, Tik Tok, and Instagram into a single, cohesive proposition that they can consistently activate throughout the year. The work should help them understand where they truly add value for our audience, how they differentiate in a crowded landscape, and what role each platform should play.
This is not about surface-level trends. They want thinking that is grounded in insight, realistic to execute, and capable of building a genuine community rather than chasing vanity metrics.
- Define niche and strategic positioning on social, supported by evidence and audience understanding
- Identify the types of content and narratives that meaningfully resonate, not just what is fashionable in the short term
- Build clear content pillars and evergreen content streams that can run year-round across Facebook, Tik Tok and Instagram
- Guide tone of voice, pacing, cadence, creative approach, and community interaction
- Establish meaningful success metrics that move beyond impressions and likes
- Previous experience as a Social Strategist in a similar role
- Retail experience would be preferred
- Must be OK with some travel to NW England

Location:
London or NW based (We don t need you in the office every day but some face to face time will be required. We have a creative studio in London with our Head office near Manchester).
Rate: £350pd
