Senior Manager, UK Paid Media
Global Catalogue serves as the communication centre between Warner Music Catalogue labels and International Territories. We partner with labels and artists to develop catalogue opportunities in marketing, A&R, content development, and consumption, and translate findings into strategies deployed across the company to Catalogue teams worldwide.
With catalogues ranging from heritage acts such as Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and Aretha Franklin to current artists like Wale, Jess Glynne, Clean Bandit, Muse, and more, the Warner Music catalogue requires constant management and reinvention. Responsibilities may include reimagining classic albums, promoting playlists, and maintaining artist profiles with digital suppliers.
Your RoleThe Senior Manager, UK Paid Media will act as an in-house specialist to develop, execute, analyse, and report paid media marketing campaigns for artists originating from the US or UK. This person will liaise with media agencies and platforms to optimize content placement, drive revenue, and increase engagement.
Here You’ll Get To- Work closely with Artist Brand Managers to develop media strategies that support goals and reach for artist and genre campaigns.
- Advise on budget optimizations and efficiencies to help achieve artist KPIs and performance goals.
- Strategize for optimal content placement by channel, media opportunity, content type, and copy type.
- Collect performance data, conduct in-depth analyses, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Liaise with outside media agencies to execute digital and traditional campaigns; maintain relationships with key UK contacts.
- Oversee the buildout of all paid media assets (programmatic, print, OOH, TV, pre-roll, etc.).
- Maintain knowledge of competitors, best practices, and new paid media tools.
- Provide regular updates and monthly reporting to Artist Brand Manager teams.
- Identify and create custom audience groups with first-party data and website lists.
- Design, implement, and report on A/B tests to drive improvements across KPIs.
- Understand a unified media strategy across email, organic & paid social, SEO, SEM, referral programs, retail messaging, direct mail, and offline channels.
- Progressive experience in digital and traditional paid media planning; agency and/or music industry experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree with focus on marketing, communications, or advertising preferred.
- Experience with Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and other digital platforms.
- Expertise in Social Advertising (Meta, Tik Tok, Snapchat, etc.), SEO & SEM, Google Ads, Apple Search, etc.
- Experience working in or with media agencies.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with photo/video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut) preferred.
