The Role

We are looking for a Creative Director who can lead projects from idea to delivery. You will guide the creative vision, mentor designers, and work closely with clients, directors, and production teams. This role suits someone who thrives in fast moving environments where detail, artistry, and technical awareness all matter.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the creative development of video content for live performance, projection mapping, and immersive environments.
  • Shape concepts, storyboards, visual languages, and overall project identity.
  • Direct internal teams of designers, animators, and motion artists, providing clear feedback and maintaining high standards.
  • Present ideas to clients and collaborators in a confident and grounded way.
  • Oversee workflow from concept to final delivery, working with producers to keep projects on track.
  • Stay aware of new tools, techniques, and industry trends that can push our work further.
  • Help build a positive, curious, and collaborative studio culture.
  • Travel internationally for installations and rehearsals for periods of up to six weeks, three to four times annually.

  • Proven experience leading creative teams on complex projects.
  • A portfolio that shows strong visual judgement and storytelling in live or spatial contexts.
  • Ability to work with directors, designers, and technical teams in a clear and open way.
  • Confidence with visual development tools and an understanding of media server workflows and large scale formats.
  • Calmness under pressure and the ability to make smart decisions when timelines tighten.
  • Curiosity, imagination, and a natural sense for how audiences read a space.
  • Experience with concert touring, opera, theatre, or live events.
  • Understanding of projection mapping and real time workflows.
  • Interest in emerging tech for performance and installation.
