Job Purpose:
As the Studio Technician you will be the central pointof contact forthe In-house Agencyproducers anda defined group of internal clients.
Reporting to the Studio Head,you willbe responsible fororganizingand setting up shoots,assisting the team with post-production andday to dayfile management. You would be expected to support andmanageclient expectations. This includes ensuring thatfilmingtimelinearefeasible, and that we meet and where possible exceed the expectations of our clients.
You’llbe happy working in an in-house environment and will relish collaborating with other members of the team to produce well-crafted workthat’son brand, on strategy and on time.
The right person would need todemonstrateindustry knowledge and the ability to keep up to date with all emerging technologies andfilmingtechniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Support production team acrossall phases of production, including pre-production planning, scheduling, location management, voice-over recording, filming, and post-production
- Support and/or oversee filming, directing, lighting, sound recording, and editing, ensuring high production quality and consistency
- Maintain and manage production equipment, media assets, and workflows, including archiving and version control
- Managefilming scheduling, ensuring that expectations are managed, and deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with internalproducers,animatorsandexternal vendors, freelancers, and production partners as needed
- Ensure that capacity issues are referred to the management team
- Providingday to dayassistanceto the Producers,Studio Headand Creative Director.
- Provide editing support on Tier C projectswhenrequired
- Maintainingthehigh standards of creative output within the applicable corporate identity
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Riverside podcasting Application and Lumen5 video creation Application
- Provide technical equipmentspecificationsupport for Citi tower broadcasting studio set up and build
Qualifications:
We are looking for aStudio
Technician who has proven experience ofworking within filming and production.
A keen eye and a desire to make sure that everything that is produced in the group is of the highest standard.
Experience of liaising with producers, camera operatorsandlighting technicians anda knowledge of the production process, including an understanding of the techniques involved.
You’llhave worked in a client-facing role and know how to ensure they understand how a production works (andwhat’sneeded of them) as part of the process.
You’llbe able to deal with the fast-pace of a busy creative studio, managing to balance your projects and deliver them on-time, on-brandand on-budget.
A suitable candidate does not need to have worked in-house,but what is important is that they are a bright contributor who is keen to help to continue to shape this highly regarded team.
