Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Greater London

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and proactive individual to join our expanding team. You’ll have the chance to work within a rising medical communications agency, where you’ll play a crucial role in delivering a variety of client-facing projects. You’ll collaborate with pharmaceutical companies and medical experts to produce compelling content for scientific events, digital initiatives, and internal communications. In this role, you’ll support a diverse range of projects, including large-scale congress campaigns, website launches, and medical education events.

As an agency we don’t follow a ‘typical’ medcomms structure, so our roles fuse together both the medical writing and client services responsibilities. This will give you a fantastic opportunity to grow your skillset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Development:
Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading scientific materials, such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, newsletters, and web content, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Literature Research:
Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to gather relevant scientific data and references for inclusion in various projects.
  • Data Analysis:
Translate complex scientific data into clear, engaging, and accurate content tailored to target audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Project Support:
Collaborate closely with senior writers to meet client deadlines, support the development of project deliverables, and ensure high standards of work are maintained.
  • Client Interaction:
Support senior team members in liaising with clients and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to understand project requirements and ensure alignment on messaging and tone.
  • Compliance & Referencing:
Ensure all written materials comply with relevant industry guidelines and are accurately referenced.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work with medical writers, editors, designers, and other team members to produce cohesive, visually compelling, and scientifically sound deliverables.
  • Training & Development:
Stay updated on industry trends, therapeutic areas, and scientific advancements. Engage in on-the-job training and participate in external courses as needed to enhance your medical writing skills.
Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Life Sciences.
  • Ideally 1-2 years agency experience
  • Must have prior experience as a medical writer or operating in client services
Skills & Attributes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and platforms.
  • Fast learner with a proactive attitude and strong initiative.
  • Strategic mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Event management experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
